Backyard Bat House has been a member of Bat Conservation International since the beginning. With expert opinions and some trial and error Backyard Bat House was born. Backyard Bat House started working with campgrounds, parks and farmers since 2017. With help from his father-in-law Hugh, a retired Air Force Vet and Jason Raybin, a fellow shipmate on board USS Newport News, the drive to build a product that was designed to be both long-term and effective came into existence. With quality always in the forefront, Backyard Bat House found Western Red to be the best option. Cedar is naturally resistant to insects to keep wasps and other pests from nesting. By spacing the roosting champers 3/4", the bats have a natural home environment and keep warm by conserving body heat.
